Technology for webcast
Švehlák, Milan ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis discusses technology for creating webcast and possible methods for its implementation. To begin with, there is mentioned theoretical knowledge about the transmission of multimedia over the Internet. This is followed by a list of basic methods for webcast. In the following parts, these various methods are described in detail with their advantages and disadvantages and they are compared. This thesis also discusses the hardware and software tools necessary for implementing the webcast. Finally, there is a design suggestion for the most appropriate method for making a webcast with respect to the stipulated requirements and subsequently made its implementation.
Web portal for the video transmission from IP cameras
Čučka, Milan ; Doležel, Radek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This work is about methods for transferring an image from the web cameras, IP cameras and the creation of a live transmission of television cameras with streaming server and subsequent placement on the web. The first part deals with basic methods of webcam image transfer. This information is described in detail, in next section. The third section describes using of IP cameras for live broadcasts or transmission to a common frame. The last section describes creation of a streaming server and the process of creating a live transmission. There are the advantages and disadvantages of each technology. At the end of the work is given the most frequently used multimedia data formats.
Monitoring and Security System
Felix, Martin ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design and implementation of system for securing and monitoring objects. The whole system is serving as an application getaway between typical TCP/IP network and heterogeneous network containing different end devices such as security cameras, microphones and some sensors (e.g. for temperature measurement). In case of detected event, the notification is created, recorded and the user is informed via administrative front-end. System can be managed from remote location and data from devices can be shown by web interface. Theoretical part of this project concerns with the analysis of different types of connecting devices and sensors and the possibilities of their usage for the monitoring systems along with description of communications protocols for each end device. The next part deals with the cameras interfaces, content analysis and connectivity with central server. Practical part describes methods and techniques used for implementation of system.
Visual head motion monitoring
Sieber, Lukáš ; Babinec, Tomáš (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is based on finding of head rotation and position against stationary shoulders from frames captured by web camera in real time. Furthermore the thesis adverts to benefits of using Open CV. It is also included some Open CV function overview, such as optical flow, 3D-2D points corresponding calculation and among others operations with rotation matrix. The end of this thesis provides outcomes evaluation and future work proposals.
Methods for automated camera focusing
Kičina, Pavol ; Rášo, Ondřej (referee) ; Šmirg, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is about methods of focusing with web camera. Edge detection method and Discrete cosine transform method are use in this thesis. In program MatLab I create a program, which take a picture from web camera. With handle focusing this program shows information how much is picture focus. Functional and elementary are subject, which I use to compare. Advantages and disadvantages are in this thesis, with important elements about quality of focus, too.
